Training your puppy early sets the foundation for a well-behaved adult dog. Here's everything you need to know to get started.
When to Start Training
Start training as soon as you bring your puppy home, typically around 8 weeks old. Puppies are most receptive to learning between 8-16 weeks.

The first and most important training:

- Take out after every meal
- Take out before bedtime
- Praise immediately when they go outside
- Never punish accidents - just clean up
- Use enzyme cleaners for accidents

Stay
- Have puppy sit

- Take a few steps back
- Return, reward, praise
